The University Lodge is approximately 8 miles from the major thoroughfare I-91, and is walking distance to the center of Amherst, Amherst College and the University of Massachusetts. Mt. Holyoke and Smith Colleges are both just a short drive away. The hotel is 100% nonsmoking and offers wake-up service, faxes, free morning coffee in the main office, free wifi and free parking. A computer with internet access and printer are available for complimentary guest use in the main office. PLEASE NOTE: The office is open from 8am to 9pm daily with a 24 hour answering service. Those arriving after 9:00pm should check in at Howard Johnson, 401 Russell Street, Route 9, in Hadley, MA. Howard Johnson does not provide shuttle service to the Lodge.
