The Candlelight Inn is a beautifully restored Bed and Breakfast that concentrates on making its guests feel relaxed. It was built at the turn of the century by Leaming Rice. This Queen Anne, Victorian style structure served as the family home for many years and remained in the Rice family until 1985 The present innkeepers, Bill and Nancy, will keep the Inn as charming as in the past and maintain its great traditions. Today, the Candlelight Inn can be enjoyed by couples seeking a romantic getaway. All guests rooms in the main house have private baths, two with a whirlpool tub, one with a gas fireplace, and several with romantic fireplaces. Both rooms in the remodeled Carriage House have their own fireplaces and private, double whirlpool tubs. Most rooms have ceiling fans. Check-in is at 2 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
