The Lodge has recieved a Four Diamond rating since 1994 by AAA and was recognized by Conde Naste Johansens for 2004 as the Most Outstanding Inn in North America and the Caribiean and for 2005 was recognized by Andrew Harpers Hideaway Report as a Grand Award Winner, highlighting the Worlds top 24 Captivating hideaways, of which only 8 properties in the United States made the list. The view from the lodge and all but one of the guestrooms is truly breathtaking. As you look westerly across the 40-mile long Moosehead Lake a sense of tranquility will definately follow.
