Showcase of their first pictures and maybe voting during the “RIVIERA MAYA
WEDDING FESTIVAL” at Playa Cocos in the Barceló Maya Palace

CONTEST
RULES
-
Photographers will provide a
minimum of five photos One photo must be beach related and all have the
location noted. All entries submitted
must be in portrait style, digital format 600x700 pixels, 72 pixels per
inch and in RGB JPEG
format.
-
Selection of photographers.
Must have registered on our sign up form below. Must be current member
of AFWPi, Have a valid passport, must plan to exhibit in a bridal show
in their area by March 2011.
-
Photographers agree to pay
for their own airfare and will be resposible for any extras expenses
not
provided by the venues.
-
You will be provided with
your
own room for the lenght of stay, meals will be provided. A model will
be available for you, to use for the shoot-out.
-
The first day will be for
scouting locations. By 5:00, each photographer will select 3 primary
resort locations and three secondary (three per day for two days) and
the time of day they would like to shoot. If there is a conflict, the
location will be assigned to each photographer on a different day.
-
Models, gown sponsors,
stylists, make-up artists, and hotel staff will be supplied and present
to assist.
-
Photographers will have the
third day to relax and enjoy the day.
-
There will be three judgings,
the first from the venues, the second group will be the wedding
planners attending the Love Mexico conference. The third will occur the
following month with an online vote by the brides. Judges may also
include resort
marketing companies, wedding professionals, association members,
airline, gown and wedding magazine sponsors. The title
“Best Wedding Photographer in Riviera Maya”. may be changed.

The photos from the
photographers and their credits will be publicized online and in
wedding publications as well as naming “Riviera Maya’s Best”.
-
After selection, the “Best in
Riviera Maya” photographer will be identified in contest public relations to
media, to wedding planner trade, in hotel advertising, and in
magazine editorial and advertorials.
AGREEMENT
-
Photographers agree to allow
all contest sponsors to reproduce their entries online and in print for
contest publicity purposes.
-
Sponsors and photographers
agree that photographs will not be sold to any other party and will
only be used for each sponsor’s marketing and advertising purposes.
-
Photographers agree to
transfer five photos taken at
the resorts to contest officials to be submitted for judging “Best in
Riviera Maya”.
-
Photographers selected grant
unlimited reproduction rights to each contest sponsor
for print and online marketing. Sponsors to include and are limited to
hotel, airline, wedding association, wedding magazine, gown designer,
make-up artists
and floral companies.

To complete the required release forms.
