Angie Zimmerman worked for corporate America for 15 years before she decided to leave and open her first flower shop. She will tell you that she always wanted to own her own business and a book called "Do What You Love and The Money Will Follow" gave her the motivation to open a flower shop. Since Angie was a young child she was always drawn to flowers and had a natural gift when it came to arranging them. Since 1991 Angie has been in the Flower Business. She had a shop in San Ramon for 9 years, then sold the shop and moved to El Dorado Hills with her husband. After a year off, she reopened a floral business call Heavenly Flowers & Events specializing in weddings and special events. In December 2008, Angie released a Do It Yourself Wedding Flower Guide (DIY Wedding Flower Guide), which consists of a workbook with step by step instructions and 5 DVD’s. She developed this for brides who want to save money (but don’t mind “trading their time for money.” Angie also teaches flower arranging classes via her own internet TV channel, Flower Arranging 101. Every week she releases two NEW videos demonstrating how to make floral arrangements for your home, office, as gifts, for dinner parties, for themed parties or as seen in the media (television and magazines). In August 2011 Angie became Preston Bailey’s instructor for his Floral Design Course and was named “The Floral Diva” by him. The course, featuring Angie and Mr. Bailey was recently released online and is affiliated with The Wedding Planning Institute.
