AfWPi exists to develop the wedding and event industry into a respected and prosperous entity, through building relationships between and among professionals, brides, the media and the general public, throughout the world. AfWPi is an international community of wedding and special event professionals, providing marketing resources and exposure to members, education opportunities, and support for the wedding industry. Our support of education is evident with our sponsorship of Wedding MBA—the largest wedding business conference in the U.S.—since 2007. We also sponsor and promote almost all other educational conferences that we hear of. Our regional conferences are our hope that we can bring the education closer to where people live, but to maintain the quality of speakers and information that the larger, national conferences have.
