There are many associations, societies & organizations in the wedding industry, some local others regional and still others category specific. All have benefits making them worthy to join. Most will have requirements you must meet prior to your joining. We at the AWPi were incorporated in California, a state that does not allow restraint of trade. Hence to be a member of AWPi we ask that you be in the wedding industry, and agree to follow our code of ethics. Please look over that code prior to joining. Be sure you view our benefits page.
AFWPI does have an ethics committee that follows up on unresolved complaints.

Regular Membership $240 per year
A Regular Member is a company that receives more revenue from weddings than from other wedding professionals. eg: Photographer, Consultant
Associate Membership $360 per year
An Associate Member is a company that receives more revenue from wedding professionals than from weddings. A discount on services or products must be offered to AWP Members. eg; Bridal Show Promoter, wedding web site etc. Special offer may be a discount or enhanced service.
A $25 one-time set-up fee is required. Additional categories are $10 apiece.
Proof of licenses are required or reason for exemption explained. If they are pending, please note on your application that fact.
