The Camellia String Quartet can provide music for any occasion: personal, corporate, religious, school assemblies, and especially for wedding ceremonies and receptions. How to book Contact us. We will see if your date and time is available and will “pencil you in” on our calendar. When you have completed a contract and paid a 50% deposit, your date and time will be scheduled as Firm. If you have asked us to hold your date and time without a deposit and someone else wants to book the group we will give you a call before we will book another person; you have 1st dibs. Balance Due Full payment is due 15 days prior to your event unless other arrangements have been made. How far in advance to book It is not unusual to book the quartet more than a year in advance. The closer to your ceremony, the more likely we may be busy. If available, we do take “last minute” bookings. First hour rate variance This varies depending on the distance from our home base in Sacramento. After the 1st hour, additional time is a basic $220/hr. Dress Our standard dress is black and white. We can wear all black upon request. Audition-Consultation Several brides/couples come invited to come together at one of our homes and the quartet plays short versions of the list that is on our website as well as requests from our repertoire list. We then meet with you individually to assist you in planning your ceremony music, setting the mood and style you want for your wedding. How to hear the quartet You can hear us at one of our audition-consultations or at a local bridal expo. Contact us for upcoming dates. Repertoire We provide popular, romantic, religious, and classical music for you. A repertoire list is available upon request. Special songs It is possible to have a special song performed even if it is not on our large repertoire. An arranging fee of $60 is usually charged. Contact us.
