Rules
1- All Afwpi member Photographers
in the 209, 530, 707, 775 & 916 area codes are invited to enter.
2- May submit 2 photos, taken at the Sacramento Zoo, with a
"wild
theme" (your imagination). Small fee of $20 to enter. (goes to
Sacramento Zoo)
3- Photos will be voted on by media judges & zoo
representatives.
4- Each photographer and one assistant will be allowed
admittance to
enter the zoo in order to take photographs. Gowns are sponsored We have
designer lines of dresses that well be used. There will be a few models
available to shoot
5- All photographers agree that any photos entered may be
used by the
sponsors in their marketing. (Photo credit will be given!) The winner
will be added to the preferred vendor list of the Sacramento Zoo and
will have the right to show the logo.
6- You must follow All Sacramento Zoo Guidelines. You will
only have
access to public areas and are not permitted to cross fences or have
any contact with the animals.
Gowns will be available after
10am. Go to the Kampala Center.

Guidelines
1- Contest is set for July 13th, all photos to be submitted by July
16th to Zoo Contest Email
2- All entries submitted must be in digital 600x700 pixels, 300 pixels
per inch and in RGB JPEG format in portrait style.
3- Photos will be judged by July 20th and the winner will be announced
4- Winner gets exclusive use of the Special 2009 Zoo Banner.
Will be added to the Preferred List of professionals at the Zoo.
Have the special ZooLogo added to their Afwpi profile at no charge.
5- To enter the contest you must rsvp so we can get
your name to the gate for admitance. Please let me know what day you
plan to enter. This is being sent to all photographers on my mailing
list. You
must be a current members of Afwpi to enter the contest. I have
attached an application for those that still want to join. We have a
payment plan if you require it, please call our office to have one sent
